Key Dates and Schedule

We ask all participants to mark these critical dates in their calendars to ensure a smooth and effective hackathon:

Pre-Hackathon Period [Planning and admin work]

  • March 25- April 7: Hacker onboarding and orientation

Hackathon Phase [Early project ideation, async communications, office hours]

  • April 8-10: Kickoff events (virtual)

  • April 10-May 18: Active development period

  • May 19: Mid-hackathon checkpoint at (New York City)

  • May 20-June 7: Final development sprint

Judging Phase [Full weekend required]

  • June 7: Project submission deadline (11:59 PM UTC)

  • June 7-9: Hackathon judging

  • June 10-11: Winners announced at DeSci Berlin Conference

Office Hours

Judges and Mentors offer weekly and bi-weekly office hours which hackers are encouraged to attend. The times and subject matter covered in these events will be posted shortly.
